Obverse description
Depicts a falcon based on a medallion (ornamental disk) from the 10th century, holding a tree branch in its beak, and between its talons are two waterfowl with the engraver's initials near the left one, surrounded by the inscription "Hungarian National Museum" and dates 1802-1977 written in Roman numerals below. Engraver: Sándor Tóth On the obverse of the coin, within the smooth border, there is a circular inscription 'MAGYAR NEMZETI MÚZEUM' (Hungarian National Museum), with the years 'MDCCCII—MCMLXXVII' (1802-1977) written in Roman numerals, separated by dots. The main motif of the coin is a depiction of a falcon based on a medallion (ornamental disk) from the 10th century, holding a tree branch in its beak, and between its talons are two waterfowls. To the left of the vertical axis, between the trunk of the falcon and one of the waterfowls, the designer's initials 'TS' for Tóth Sándor is visible.
