Description

András Fáy (1786–1864) was a Hungarian politician, writer, and economic reformer known for his significant contributions to the development of Hungary's economy and society during the early 19th century. Born into a noble family, Fáy studied law and served in various governmental positions. However, he became renowned for his role as a pioneer of economic liberalism in Hungary.

Depicts the emblem of the Savings Bank Association of Pest, established by András Fáy. Beneath it, the denomination and the word "FORINT" are displayed in two horizontal rows. Around the edge, the upper circular inscription reads "HUNGARY," while on the left side, the mint mark "BP." and on the right side, the year of issue "2014" are positioned. At the bottom, the engraver's privy mark is depicted.
