The coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles shows a shield, in which a giant tortoise is located on grounds. On the ground there is a coco de mer palm tree. Behind it there is a sea with two islands and a sail ship to be seen. The shield is enthroned by a helmet, on which a white-tailed tropicbird is located above waves. The shield is supported by two white sailfish. Beneath the shield the motto of Seychelles is stated: "Finis Coronat Opus" (Latin for "The End Crowns the Work").

Damselfish, within the subfamilies Abudefdufinae, Chrominae, Lepidozyginae, Pomacentrinae, and Stegastinae of the Pomacentridae family, are mostly small marine fish, with the largest species reaching about 30cm in length. Found globally in tropical, subtropical, and temperate waters, they primarily inhabit coral reefs and are popular as marine aquarium pets. Their diet includes small crustaceans, plankton, and algae. A few species live in brackish or freshwater environments. Damselfish exhibit territorial behavior, with species like the threespot and dusky damselfish being highly defensive of their territories. The domino damselfish spends over 85% of its daytime foraging, with larger fish foraging higher in the water column, and feeding rates influenced by current speeds.
