Depicts three of the Red Arrows’ iconic BAE Systems Hawk T1 aircraft, accompanied by the colorful trails left behind during the team’s spectacular aerial displays.

The BAE Systems Hawk T1 is a British-made jet aircraft renowned for its agility and role as a training and aerobatic display plane. Developed by Hawker Siddeley (later part of BAE Systems), the Hawk T1 first entered service in the 1970s, primarily used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) to train pilots in advanced flying techniques. Its sleek, aerodynamic design, paired with its powerful engine, makes it ideal for the precise and demanding maneuvers required in aerobatic displays. The Hawk T1 has been the backbone of the Red Arrows since 1979, helping to establish the team’s reputation for flawless aerial performances. Its versatility, reliability, and distinctive design have made it a favorite for both military training and public demonstrations worldwide.

The colorful trails left by the Red Arrows during their aerobatic displays are created by the team’s aircraft releasing a combination of colored smoke, usually made from a special mixture of oil and dye. These vibrant trails, which follow the aircraft’s precise movements, add a striking visual element to the team’s performances. The Red Arrows use red, white, and blue smoke to represent the colors of the British flag, further enhancing the patriotic nature of their displays. The trails are carefully coordinated with each maneuver, highlighting the team's precision and creating a dynamic and captivating spectacle for audiences both on the ground and in the air.
