The colorful trails left by the Red Arrows during their aerobatic displays are created by the team’s aircraft releasing a combination of colored smoke, usually made from a special mixture of oil and dye. These vibrant trails, which follow the aircraft’s precise movements, add a striking visual element to the team’s performances. The Red Arrows use red, white, and blue smoke to represent the colors of the British flag, further enhancing the patriotic nature of their displays. The trails are carefully coordinated with each maneuver, highlighting the team's precision and creating a dynamic and captivating spectacle for audiences both on the ground and in the air.
