The series is dedicated to the European capitals (Belgrade, Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Bucharest, Warsaw, Vienna, Kyiv, Chișinău, Minsk, Prague, Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius) liberated by Soviet troops during WWII.

On August 24, 1944, the Soviet troops during the Chișinău Offensive liberated the capital of Moldova from the German forces.

Depicts the memorial in honour of the Chișinău liberation from the German invaders in 1944, which is a part of the memorial complex "Eternitate" (Eternity), on the background of contour images of Chișinău’s architectural buildings, below the date of the city's liberation: "AUGUST 24, 1944", above along the rim the city's name: CHISINAU.
