Chrysanthemums, sometimes called mums or chrysanths, are flowering plants native to Asia and northeastern Europe. Most species originate from East Asia and the center of diversity is in China. They were first cultivated in China as a flowering herb as far back as the 15th century BC.

Pinyin is the Romanization of the Chinese characters based on their pronunciation.

RMB or the renminbi (lit. "people's currency") is the official currency of the People's Republic of China. The yuan is the basic unit of the renminbi, but is also used to refer to the Chinese currency generally, especially in international contexts. The distinction between the terms renminbi and yuan is similar to that between sterling and pound, which respectively refer to the British currency and its primary unit.
