Description

A thinner and lighter (0.48 g) version of the same coin was issued in Travancore by Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma II (ND, 1928-1949) and listed in Krause Catalog as KM# 57.

Mulam Thirunal Rama Varma was the ruling Maharajah of the Indian state of Travancore between 1885 and 1924, succeeding his uncle Maharajah Visakham Thirunal (1880–1885). Full name is HH The Maharajah of Travancore Sree Padmanabhadasa Vanchipala Sir Rama Varma VI.
