Yuri Vladimirovich Nikulin (1921–1997) was one of the best clowns of the 20th century and a Russian film actor who starred in more than 40 films. He is best known for his roles in Leonid Gaidai's comedies, such as The Diamond Arm and Kidnapping, Caucasian Style, although he occasionally starred in dramatic roles. Since 1982 Yuri Nikulin was the General Manager and Artistic Director of the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. For many years, he run the White Parrot TV show, where he invited many famous people to share jokes and funny stories.
