Henri (born 16 April 1955) is the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, reigning since 7 October 2000. He is the eldest son of Grand Duke Jean and Princess Joséphine Charlotte of Belgium, and a first cousin of the current King of the Belgians, Philippe.

The 12 stars, in between which are inserted the engraver's initials 'GC', surround the centre where, on the left, from bottom to top, between the two mint marks, are the date and the word Luxembourg written vertically. On the right is the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri, in profile facing to the right, in 'new style' linear graphics. The left 40% of the coin has the effigy cut off and the style of the stars inverted. 2006 |
