Description

The Reading for All Festival or the Reading for All Campaign is a national campaign in Egypt. The campaign aims to encourage young people and children in Egypt to read, which was adopted by the former First Lady of Egypt, Suzanne Mubarak.

The idea of the festival was born during the International Federation of Publishers Conference held in London in 1991, where the phenomenon of children's libraries in Egypt and the social and cultural role they can play in a child's life were discussed. The first celebration of this festival was in 1991 in the Arab Al-Mohammadi Library and under the slogan "Reading for All".

Obverse	Person (politician, revolutionary, entrepreneur) Suzanne Mubarak Depicts a portrait of Susanne Mubarak, the wife of at that time President Mubarak, the inscription "Reading for all" above "under the auspices of the lady Susanne Mubarak" below. Suzanne Mubarak (Arabic: سوزان مبارك; born 28 February 1941) is the widow of Egyptian former president Hosni Mubarak and was the First Lady of Egypt during her husband's presidential tenure from 14 October 1981 to 11 February 2011. She has served as Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and founded the Cairo Child Museum in collaboration with the British Museum.
