Description
Jean (Jean Benoît Guillaume Robert Antoine Louis Marie Adolphe Marc d'Aviano; 1921-2019) reigned as Grand Duke of Luxembourg from 1964 until his abdication in 2000. He was the father of the current ruler, Grand Duke Henri, and the son of Grand Duchess Charlotte and Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma.
This coin has variants with a broad and narrow rim. On the coin with a broad rim, the crown and the lower leaves nearly touch the rim.
