The James Bond film series is a series of spy films based on the fictional character of MI6 agent James Bond, "007", who originally appeared in a series of books by Ian Fleming. It is one of the longest continually-running film series in history, having been in on-going production from 1962 to the present (with a six-year hiatus between 1989 and 1995). In that time Eon Productions has produced 24 films, most of them at Pinewood Studios. Six actors have portrayed 007 in the Eon series.

Depicts Q Branch’s memorable speedboat from the River Thames scene in "The World Is Not Enough". The design includes the 007 logo as it appeared in the 1990s, along with the title of each 1990s Bond film in the background. The engraver's initials below. The central image sits within the unmistakable gun barrel border that memorably appears at the beginning of every 007 movie.

"The World Is Not Enough," released in 1999, is the nineteenth installment in the James Bond series. Directed by Michael Apted and starring Pierce Brosnan as MI6 agent James Bond, the film follows Bond's mission to protect Elektra King after her father's assassination by the terrorist Renard. The plot centers on preventing a scheme to increase petroleum prices through a nuclear meltdown in Istanbul's waters. Despite mixed reviews, the film grossed $361.8 million worldwide. It marked the first Bond film released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the franchise's new distributor.

In one of James Bond's most iconic boat chases, Pierce Brosnan's 007 commandeers Q's retirement vessel and embarks on a thrilling pursuit along the Thames, serving as a gripping introduction to Brosnan's second Bond film. Racing through London, Bond eventually intercepts the enigmatic assassin near the Millennium Dome, navigating through improbable shortcuts in the Docklands. Notably, the villain's choice of boat, a Sunseeker Superhawk 34, steals the spotlight with its sleek design and seemingly autonomous capabilities. Powerboat racer Sarah Donohue skillfully doubles for Giulietta da Vinci in the scene, showcasing her remarkable piloting skills.
