The James Bond film series is a series of spy films based on the fictional character of MI6 agent James Bond, "007", who originally appeared in a series of books by Ian Fleming. It is one of the longest continually-running film series in history, having been in on-going production from 1962 to the present (with a six-year hiatus between 1989 and 1995). In that time Eon Productions has produced 24 films, most of them at Pinewood Studios. Six actors have portrayed 007 in the Eon series.

Reverse

Depicts the memorable hovercraft that appears in the opening sequence of "Die Another Day". The design includes the 007 logo as it appeared in the 2000s, along with the title of each 2000s Bond film in the background. The engraver's initials below. The central image sits within the unmistakable gun barrel border that memorably appears at the beginning of every 007 movie.

"Die Another Day" is a 2002 spy film and the twentieth installment in the James Bond series, produced by Eon Productions and directed by Lee Tamahori. This final film starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond also features Halle Berry as NSA agent Jinx Johnson and John Cleese as Q. The plot follows Bond as he hunts down a traitor in British intelligence linked to a North Korean operative. Notable for being the first Bond film since "Live and Let Die" (1973) without Desmond Llewelyn as Q, it draws influences from Ian Fleming's novels "Moonraker" and "The Man with the Golden Gun." Released on the franchise's 40th anniversary, the film received mixed reviews but was the highest-grossing Bond film at the time.

The hovercraft chase in "Die Another Day" was filmed at Eelmoor Tank Driving Range in Aldershot, England, and directed by 007 action unit legend Vic Armstrong. The Griffon 2000TD hovercraft used in the scene was challenging to control. A hovercraft, or air-cushion vehicle (ACV), is an amphibious craft that can travel over land, water, mud, ice, and other surfaces.
