The material of the coin has ferromagnetic characteristics.

Obverse

Depicts the two-headed eagle with wings down (emblem of the Bank of Russia) in the centre, under it the semicircular inscription: BANK OF RUSSIA. To the right under the eagle’s left paw the mint mark; along the rim the denomination in two words: TEN RUBLES; on the bottom of the coin two horizontal lines divided by a dot and the year of mintage under it.

Reverse

Denomination in the coin centre: 10 RUBLES. There are the hidden pictures (hologram) inside of the figure “0”: inscription RUB and digital 10. Both pictures are visible by turns on changing the angle of vision.
