Description

Apart from the fairy tales which are well-known around the world, the Fairy Tales series also presents national fairy tales with a universal message. The images on the coins are little gems which capture many symbols due to which the fairy tales are no more ordinary narratives but touch upon the world of magic.

This is one of the best-known works of Yakub Kolas, a classic of Belarusian literature and a national poet. Simon the Musician is a poetic story about the fate of a talented musician Simon, his quest for the truth and sense of life – the story is a curious hymn about national art presented as the eternal source of spiritual force of the nation.

Surface of the coin is oxidized.
