Apart from the fairy tales which are well-known around the world, the Fairy Tales series also presents national fairy tales with a universal message. The images on the coins are little gems which capture many symbols due to which the fairy tales are no more ordinary narratives but touch upon the world of magic.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll published in 1865 is a narrative about the adventures of a little girl in the enchanted world as well as about her relations with strange creatures which live in there. Each meeting results in a story with a moral. The novel employs the convention of an absurd dream, still it is full of allegories, satirical parodies, linguistic and mathematical references.
Surface of the coin is oxidized.
