Crowned (by the heraldic representation of the crown of King Eric XIV of Sweden) coat of arms of Sweden and King's motto "The Welfare of the Brother Peoples" on a scroll below. The arms are supported by two lions with forked tails, facing away from the shield and crowned with Royal Crowns. Above the crown is the value, while below the motto is the date with at sides the mintmarks: mintmark of Sveriges Riksbank, Stockholm (crowned St. Eric) on the left and mintmaster Emil Brusewitz's (E.B.) initials on the right.

The coat of arms consists of a shield, quartered by a cross and divided into four shields, and an inescutcheon containing the dynastic arms of the Royal House.

The Three Crowns are in the first and fourth fields. In the second and third fields three white bending streams are shown, with an upright crowned lion displaying red tongue and red claws (This is from the coat of arms of The House of Bjelbo also known as Folkung).

The inescutcheon has the arms for the House of Bernadotte. On the top left of the inescutcheon there is the azure background with an eagle and stars above it.

The original crown of King Eric XIV of Sweden was made in Stockholm in 1561 by Flemish goldsmith Cornelius ver Weiden, for the coronation of King Eric XIV. It is held in the Treasury under the Stockholm Palace along with the rest of the Swedish Royal Regalia. The crown is the official crown of the King of Sweden and is still used in ceremonies.
