Depicts a trireme, surrounded by the value in Arabic (above) and English (below).

The Phoenicians, who lived along the coast of Lebanon and Syria, were the first great maritime commercial empire. They voyaged the length and breadth of the Mediterranean and out into the Atlantic, trading for tin, copper, amber, fine fabrics and ivory.
