Description

In 1975, the Sherritt Mint produced 7,236,000 nickel 27.3mm 1 livre coins for the Bank of Lebanon in 1975, and intriguingly, all of these coins bore the date of the preceding year. Furthermore, there were two gold off-metal strikes, but these are not documented in the Sherritt Mint's Annual Coinage Summary for 1975.
