Ádám Mányoki (1673–1757) was a Hungarian portrait painter renowned for his contributions to the Baroque period.
His expertise lay in capturing the essence and demeanor of his subjects within his portraits. Mányoki's subjects often included notable figures from Hungarian nobility, clergy, intellectuals, as well as individuals from the European aristocracy whom he encountered during his travels.
Aside from portraiture, Mányoki Ádám diversified his portfolio with religious paintings, allegorical compositions, and mythological scenes. His religious artworks typically depicted biblical narratives with a dramatic touch, employing dynamic compositions and expressive figures to convey the essence of the stories.
Mányoki's influence on Hungarian art during the Baroque era remains significant. He played a pivotal role in shaping the painting landscape of Hungary during his time.
