Description

Al Ahmadiya School, located in Al Ras, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was established in 1912 by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmouk, making it Dubai's oldest known formal educational institution. It boasted an illustrious faculty, including some of the city's most renowned jurists and Islamic scholars. The school produced notable alumni who played key roles in Dubai's modernization during the 20th century.

Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1918–2004) was an Emirati leader, credited with founding the United Arab Emirates. He governed the Eastern Region before becoming Abu Dhabi's ruler in 1966 and later the UAE's first president until his passing in 2004. Revered as the "Father of the Nation," he played a pivotal role in uniting the seven emirates. Zayed succeeded his brother as Abu Dhabi's ruler after a peaceful coup in 1966.

Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (1912–1990) was an Emirati royal and politician, instrumental in founding the United Arab Emirates. He served as the first vice president and the second prime minister of the UAE, and was the ruler of Dubai for 32 years, from 1958 until his death in 1990. As vice president from the UAE's founding until his death, Al Maktoum was the first to concurrently serve as prime minister, beginning on 30 April 1979. Since his tenure, every prime minister has also been de facto vice president.
