The America the Beautiful Quarters are a series of 25-cent pieces (quarters) issued by the United States Mint from 2010 until at least 2021.
Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone, widely held to be the first national park in the world, is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful geyser, one of the most popular features in the park.
Quarters are issued depicting designs of national parks and sites in the order of which that park or site was deemed a national site. Release date (national site date): June 1, 2010 (March 1, 1872).
