The America the Beautiful Quarters are a series of 25-cent pieces (quarters) issued by the United States Mint from 2010 until at least 2021.
Named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, Grand Canyon National Park is located in Arizona. The park's central feature is the Grand Canyon, a gorge of the Colorado River, which is often considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The park covers 1 217 262 acres.
Quarters are issued depicting designs of national parks and sites in the order of which that park or site was deemed a national site. Release date (national site date): September 20, 2010 (February 20, 1893).
