Description

The cement industry in Egypt started in the twentieth century. Since the establishment of the Tourah Portland Cement Company in 1927 the Egyptian cement industry has witnessed steady growth. Portland cement is the most common type of cement in general use around the world as a basic ingredient of concrete, mortar, stucco, and non-specialty grout.
