The Italian mint introduced the “Cultura Enogastronomica Italiana” (Italian Food and Wine Culture) series in 2020. Each issue is dedicated to a specific region and showcases famous monuments in the background with culinary treasures standing out in colour in front of it.

Depicts a composition of typical Lazio food and wine traditions: “Romanesco” artichokes, spaghetti Amatriciana (spaghetti with guanciale and tomato), a bunch of Malvasia Putinata grapes and Frascati wine in the classic glass carafe set within an octagon recalling the symbol of the Lazio Region and whose outer frame, an escutcheon decorated with ovules and darts, features decorations of coffered ceilings of ancient Roman basilicas.
